Scott Stapp Biography

The Great Divide, Scott Stapp's solo debut will be released by Wind-up Records on November 22nd. All of the songs on The Great Divide are written by Stapp. The album was recorded in his home town of Orlando, Florida, and co-produced by Stapp and longtime Creed collaborator John Kurzweg.

As the front man for Creed, Stapp propelled the band to enormous worldwide popularity, selling more than 30 million albums. Creed's breakthrough debut album, My Own Prison, was followed by Human Clay, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and has gone on to sell more than 11 million copies. The bands third release, Weathered, also debuted at #1, selling more copies in its first week than any other rock release in 2001 and tied the record for the longest run at the top following a #1 debut. Creed officially disbanded in 2004.

Upon receipt of the information included in the Consultation & Artist Info Package, Buyer agrees that ERG has fulfilled its obligations under this agreement and releases ERG from any and all liability to the maximum extent allowed by law, and will indemnify and hold harmless ERG, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims arising from this agreement and subsequent event including but not limited to all third party claims, losses, damages, suits, fees, judgments, costs and expenses (collectively referred to as 'Claims'), including attorneys' fees incurred in responding to such Claims, that the parties may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with (a) a party’s negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of any representation, warranty, or other obligation under this Agreement, or (b) any personal injury (including death) or damage to property resulting from a party or its agents' acts or omissions and standard force majeure. The parties will give prompt notice of any Claim to the other party, and the parties will defend the opposing party at their request. This Agreement will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of NEVADA.
